Bravely Face Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bravely Face

It will not generate hatred
Don't be misled
We have raised outcry
And may sincerely try

Our brethren commit treachery
Molest women and burn property
We have nothing else than poverty
To look at sky and curse to be unlucky

Is that our black color?
That leads to dishonor
Or our pride
That makes us divide

We have tested freedom
To take away shall not be wisdom
We shall wage classless struggle
Totally bloodless and participated by people

We know violence lead to anarchy
Adds more to woe and pity
But we are not helpless
We shall bravely face
