Braving The Shame

In a forbidden relationship
He landed with her with passage of time
And made it no secret to the neighbours,
Unminding those who scandalized it
As they know well the very people
Would, given a chance, wish to do the same.
To gossip is to empty jealousy.
To gossip is to overcome cowardice.
