Breaking Through The Atmosphere Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Breaking Through The Atmosphere

The weight of silence presses down,
clouds stretch like weary hands,
holding me back,
holding me in.

Breath is thinner here,
the world below shrinking,
a whisper of what was,
a memory dissolving in light.

Beyond the last barrier,
nothing pulls-
only motion, only vastness,
only the endless unknown.
