Bridge 2 Poem by Thomas Plotz

Bridge 2

A Loving friend told me I'm Not Teal Blue,
In my Soul I know that's true

For on a molecular level,
I am born with something more,
That runs through my bones and blood, in every bit of every cell

Isn't that OK?
I am still the same,
Except my color runs deeply rich with mix pink in a hew of blue,
Almost dark enough to be black, a mix of all the colors,

The bridge of colors
I am that

I am the bridge
The link and bond with others
Mostly genetically,

I am the bridge of colors
