Are they fighting war?

Are they fighting election?

Are they fighting war for election?

Are they fighting election through proxy of war?

Meanwhile, God, The Almighty from up- above;

Hereby declares
thenew trinity.......

The sinner, the believer
And the confused! !

Yes, we the people are really confused;

Whom to believe and whom to choose,

To hold up one bearded man;

Or to go for a smoothie faced dude,

With a hero of hope; a retrievingforce,

To broaden our scope and give essence to our course,

But a steady stream of lousy leaders;

Keep maligning our core essentials,

Their divisive lines getting so thicker and sharp;

That the idea of India is being ripped apart,

Emotions they win; issues they lose,

What a strange time; we're passing through,

We're falling prey to these Greedy Gods;

Who are buying and selling human souls,

They make promises and theymake twists;

Of the great things that they'll do when they win,

Democracy claims;
we give them a chance,

But this time; I think we should join in the dance,

Coz whoever they are; the men at the helm;

The country still belongs to us; not to them,

Enough of the trolling, the bristles and the strife;

Now let's come together; stand up for our rights,

Enough of debates on religion and caste;

Now let's be united, secular at last,

Let us do something as we're getting a chance;

To set the things right; if we so want,

"Why fight a losing battle? "please don't ask,

For a nation of sheep usually begets a government of wolves,

Be vigilant, be prudent, beware and be warned;

Go ahead and vote; don't miss the chance,

Don't go gentle into the dark night;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light,

Ward off the evils of hatred and misogyny;

Bring back the good old days of "AMAR, AKBAR, ANTHONY......! ! ! "
