It's dark everywhere; no moon; no light,

Just darkness and a starless sky,

Excessive resentment,

Bombastic despondency,

Rhetorical calls for rampage;

Attack; avenge....

Their revenge; our avenge and on and on and on...

Too many howling
for blood;

Too many calling for war;

Great Nation; Great Leaders and all those who hear,

A war story is always written by blood and tears! !

We make boundaries; we make rules,

We deceive ourselves and are fools,

In the name of ease what do we do?

In the name of peace what do we do?

We are nncompoops and we think we're free,

With the guns behind; consoling for peace,

Fed up of that's how its always been;

Old men dreaming up wars for young men to die in.!

Oh, so young; our country burns;

It's up to us to apply the soothing touch! !

And here are we; with our eyes open wide,

yet so tangled; where to march and when to muddle,

Screams of agony far and wide;

And here are we; who are cursed even with the gift of sight,

Every gun that is made; every warship launched;

Every rocket fired under the clouds of war,

Hope lost; lives lost;

The 'lost' is the ultimate loss! !

Listen up folks; and give it a thought;

There's no war that will end all wars! !

May we not sacrifice the peace in pursuit of 'I',

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind! ! "

May we get rid ourselves of vanity;

And embrace peace; let live humanity! !

For, war is not about who is right,

It is; at the end, about who is left! !

Remember those who served before,

Remember those who are no more,

Remember those who sacrificed their lives,

And preserved our freedom by willingly paying the price! !

Great Nation; Great Leaders,
and all those who hear,

A war story is always written by blood and tears! !
