Broken Poem by Princess Jeesa

Sudden cramp it feels
It aches
Oh lord! It hurts
What an affliction
Pounding so fast
The pain is beyond endurance
Excruciating!
Its not old
Just in its springtime of life
Yet it has to go through such throb
You know what this 'it' is?
Its my heart
That you broke

Sometimes I want to cry out loud
But I cant
I touch my chest on the left
Just above my heart
I press it hard and rub
It soothes the pain for the moment
But it never lasts
I can feel the layers are splitting apart
The layers of my heart
Its like stitching a wound
And tearing it off before its healed
Oh you can never feel what I feel

Sometimes i want to die
But I cant
I wonder how come I'm still alive
I feel my soul is being hauled
And put in a sealed jar
Its sweltering
I'm helpless
I can only feel the mourning
But I cant do anything
What n agony
Disastrous melancholy

Sometimes I want to be forgetful
But I cant
The emptiness in my heart dominates
I feel I'm standing alone in the desert
I'm lost
I run here and there
But I cant even find a drop
I cant breathe anymore
Heaviness surrounds me
Blurred things I see
I cant bear the pain anymore
Have mercy on me
Oh Lord! Please

I have so many questions to ask
The answers I cant find
But someday you need to tell me
You need to unbind
Why you did this to me?
Why you showed me that you love?
Why you made me believe that I'm the one you want
You need to tell me what have I done
Why you made me smile & left me behind?
Why werent you there when I needed you the most?
Dont you want to know how I'm doing?
Or are you happy seeing me disintegrating?

Oh no!
It started again
