Once Upon A Time Poem by Princess Jeesa

Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time
I was an ebullient girl
Flying in my beautiful world
Where ‘Sadness' was not even a word
Autarchic feelings of acceptance
Whatever I did, there were no repentance
Surrounded by boundless friends
Envied by everyone else

Once upon a time
I was an amusing person
Swimming around the greenish-blue ocean
I was full of passion and devotion
With gleeful eyes and playful smile
I was always on cloud nine
Wanted by everyone for being so fun
I always belonged to someone

Once upon a time
I believed in fairy tales
If locked up in dungeon
I thought I will be saved
Castles, White horse, Charming Prince
I believed in happy endings
I believed in light in a dark pathway
I thought you can be loved forever and a day

But that was once upon a time I must say
Now there's no such girl, no way, no way
There is no beautiful world, no blue oceans
No such feelings, no more emotions
No more friends and a lot to repent
No more smile, now you just pretend
Wanted by none and locked up in pain
No Prince to come; only darkness remains
