Broken Poem by Rhonda Baker

Broken

Rating: 5.0

Some days my body is SCREAMING, from all I've pushed it to do
But if I can push it one more time, I know I'll make it through
When night comes, each muscle and joint REBEL
Aching and creaking and sometimes swell
Shoulders, arms, neck and back
Feeling my bones have all jumped their track
I CAN'T RELAX
Each muscle still firing with cramping attacks
My body is broken I feel with each step that I take
But I keep on going, pushing>>> until I hear it break...
