Broken Dreams Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Broken Dreams

Rating: 4.0

A young man often dreams of heroics on the gridiron,
Leisure hours on the golf course, surfing on the beach, and
Moments spent on obtaining wealth - like -
Yes, someday, maybe, even CEO of a prominent company.

A young woman also dreams - you bet - and are interrupted too,
Because she knows they can come bundled in either pink or blue.
