Broken Family - Poem by Anele TheAfrikanSon kaMthethungqongqo Potelwa

And too many secrets
With Articificial smilles
And False hearts at reign

Ingenuity of love
Causing impossibilities of life
I thought I had a family
I thought we had long reconciled
My broken family

Feeling empty at their presence
Pretending to be happy with no resilence
Faking that criminal smile
That cruel famous smile

Family not so famine
Household not so in hold at all
Home not so warmly
wonder how?
I wonder why?
Yes I wonder what kept us so dismantled
