Broken Me Poem by Safiyyah Manjra

A broken heart,
Is enough to keep two loved worlds apart.

Tears shed on the bed,
Do not take with them the memories I wished to erase from my head.

For this pain.
Have I bewildered in vain?

I am hurt.
Wish I didn't feel like dirt.

Tears are too many,
The skies scenery seems no more pretty.

I am in pain.
As I have lost all that I have gained.

Broken to sustain.
The heart is now with your stain.

Since when did let go,
Hurt more than holding on?
