Broken Promises. Poem by Geeti Sudha

Broken Promises.

Rating: 5.0

You had promised
you would never leave me alone
but you broke that.

You had promised you would
never hurt me
but you broke that.

I trusted you every time
I covered all your lies
but I had never an idea
that would have to face yours revengeful eyes

I miss you so much
and the smile on your lips
I miss your voice
and the touch of your finger tips.

You lies that you would miss me
when I would die
you were not even with me
to listen to my cry.

My feelings for you were always true
i was ready to do any thing
for your sake.
How can you forgot me
how can you regard my tears as fake.

You had promised
you would hold my hand
but you broke that.

You had promised you would love me
but you broke that.

I know the world, I know every body,
all promises are made to break
and I am with a broken heart, full of tears and tears.

Broken Promises.
