Broken Student



I know now
Because of you
I can see clearer
Since you left
Your hands were always cold
Your heart was always silent
Your eyes were always absent
I won't cry
I won't be sad
I won't hate
I learned to be wiser
I know to never listen
My ears are deaf to you
My heart will ache
But my wounds will heal
Your actions were cruel
But your lessons were life changing
