Lao or Thai language is easy to comprehend.
Mekong river cannot be demarcated,
Love of Lao and Thai is always the case.
So we've been tighten in the same terrain.'

ຄຳເວົ້າຊິນດິນແດນບໍ່ແສນຫ່າງ
ແຄ່ຂ້າມໂຂງໂຍງຮັກມັກບໍ່ຈາງ
ຮ່ວມເສ້ນທາງພື່ນ້ອງສອງແຜ່ນດິນ

'ลาวและไทยใกล้ชิดสนิทแน่น
คำเว้าชินดินแดนใช่แสนห่าง
แค่ข้ามโขงโยงรักฮักบ่จาง
ร่วมเส้นทางพี่น้องสองแผ่นดิน'
