Bullets Fly By - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Bullets fly by

Keep faith
Till last breathe
The truth shall prevail
Rest all may fail

The bullets fly by
Enemy unconsciously tries
We are dying daily
We don’t know what to do really?

We are surrounded
And targeted
Mercilessly by both sides
The enemy openly defies

We witness death rain
That causes anguish and pain
We die in hundreds
Who has time to count dead?

Is there humanity elsewhere?
How shall we dare?
To take fresh air
And stare

In the most simple language you have dealt with the realities of life. Highly impressive poem.
The truth shall prevail / Rest all may fail / We witness death rain / That causes anguish and pain
