Bungee Jumping Poem by Walterrean Salley

Bungee Jumping

Rating: 5.0

Bungee jumping
Is not my sport.
I love life too much
To abort.

Such great risk
Is not for me;
I doubt that it would
Ever be.

But those who’ve jumped
And lived to tell—
I'll say that you
Have done quite well.

Though a daredevil,
You might be,
May fate smile
Upon you still.
I'd have trouble
Just to be
Jumping from
A windowsill.

Nice rythm and rhyme Makes the sport seem o so fine Till you say that from the window sill You might consider jumping still Unless you've got a big rubber band That will bungee you up again I fear that your poem writing will end When gravity will become an enemy, not a friend. Write on! s
