Burn Poem by Rebecca Springsteen

Burn

Rating: 5.0

Can I burn everything?
The house, cars, blankets, the bed.
When he throws it in my face,
my gasoline tears fall.
I wish I could put soap in my head.
Scrub it clean.
Inhale the smoke.
Soak in the flames.
Smash the ashes.
Burn the plastic smile.

It is the feeling sometimes we all go through in life. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
