Breath Poem by Rebecca Springsteen

Breath

Rating: 4.8

I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you,
you sick judgmental fools,
when all you got is these four walls.
My mind is like a deadly disease,
do you tear yourself apart to entertain like me?
I'm headed straight for the castle.
My demons are begging me to open up my mouth.
I'm searching for something that I can't reach.
I'm a wanderess, I'm a one night stand.
We wrote a story in the fog, on the windows that night.
Your dripping like a saturated sunrise.
I bet you kiss your knuckles right before they touch my cheek.
Feel like we've been falling down like these autumn leaves.
Little do you know, I'm still haunted by the memories.
