Burn Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Burn

Your going burn.
How could you?
What you did churns.
A strong stomach, not even close.
A heart tied into my sleeve leaves me gasping.
Some sights are better not to see.
At least not so up close, so personally.
But I know in the end you'll get what's coming.
Definitely deserved.
Memories in a corpse preserved.
Awkwardly wishing it would all go away.
Not right, emotionally locked uptight.
I just can't allow it to affect me in this way.
Straighten up and display the indifference society expects.
Too much to take to get through the day.
Folded arms, rights read, and one last kiss on the forehead.
A final goodbye.
A black decked out pine box set upon the table for all to see.
Beating the demon back.
Anger rising up.
A puff of smoke soon becomes a out of control bonfire.
Deep dark unhealthy desires.
A masked confession from godless taint.
Grabbing groping in the dark for a saint.
Someone to save me, make life alter decision with a pint of voka by my side, and a in my hand a loaded 45.
Knowing and blaming are very different beast.
Proof is in the words.
Judge and jury, I don't want that responsibility, so don't make me.
Do what's right, dunk yourself gasoline, light a match, and just burn.
Recompense, the due to paid.
We all make mistakes, but most don't cost someone their lives especially with concealment in mind.
Protecting what you believe is yours.
But you never even considered the cost.
Not even once.
Now I'm left with this gut wrenching emptiness.
And all I keep hearing you say is not your fault.
You didn't know anyone was going to be in there.
Well I don't care, it's on you, and your going to burn.
