Burning Bright Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Burning Bright

Rating: 5.0

These are
the last days
of the sun.

Behold the sun
is gloriously
burning bright.

The last days
of a solitary sun
burning into contemplation.

A bright supernova
among darker
background constellations.

I torched
am a stellar body
burning bright

come walk in
the consuming light
I leave for you.

I torched
am a stellar body
burning bright

come dance
come celebrate the passage
left by a blazing light.
