Bury The Past Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bury The Past

Bury the past

Remember no past
That had just passed
Given you the golden chance to face world
As you have escaped from miserable sufferings untold

Had you been not given?
And desperately driven
To the mercy of wolves
Think of lives and dark holes

Things have changed
World has been ably managed
The refugees are becoming better
The world has become healthier

So memory of past may rush
And force us to push
Unpleasant and dark period
Into void

The present period is no good either
The people have become thirstier
Of innocent people's blood
Instead of providing shelter and food

Let us bury it
And greet
New trend in ideology
Let us not prove the supremacy of an almighty
