Life will give me another chance to live

The day is not the end of life

But will it do any good to me?

I know I could not hide forever

In the darkness of doom

Dawn will force me to live again

But is it what I want to do?

Happiness will sew my broken heart

But signs of repair can never fad.

The agony the pain will lessen by time

But it will recur with every rain

With every spring

With every cold.

I may forget the time the date

When you smiled with me

But how will I bear the emptiness, the void

That will always lie with me.

I may have people all around

But how will I fill the space the gap

That your absence made in my life.

Sun will never forget to shine

But shadows too will follow me

And I will find your shadow in those

When you will no longer hold my hand,

Silently between the crowd of people

I will feel like a lonely tree in the midst of storm.

My days shined with your laughter

My night's comforts were your shoulders

Days will pass

But how will I forget to miss you

In every day and in every night.
