By The Bay (An Old Haiku Series)

Rating: 5.0

Moon over the bay
By the sparkling calm I sit
Drinking my sorrow

Wavelets kiss my feet
Wine dampens my winded mind
Water calms my heart

The sky is tilting
The tide is ebbing slowly
So Must is the hurt

The fading moon lets
The first color of the dawn
Across my face mark

Then the sun will rise
So must I though uncertain
Rise and walk I must

yes, we must go on.. as the sun does every morn... and let time heal the pain according to its own schedule...beautiful haikus, individually and as a whole...
