By Wagner it’s the war for money,
Connected with exchange of brides
The same for him were the enticements,
Love, lack of money- his great cross.

Dependence on the rich Maecenes –
On merchant from the land of Swiss.
But only money to the death are leading,
And Siegfried died when didn’t give the ring.
