Just let me lay beside you
Fall asleep here by my side
I love the way the silver moon light
Plays out over your blue gray eyes
I love the way your skin
Is so soft and nearly transparent white
And I can't help but adore the way
Your sleep seems so light
Snuggle close under the covers
Keep your body ever so close to mine
Allow me just to hold you
Let my fingers and yours intertwine
I love the way you breathe
And the way you say my name
I revel in this blessed feeling
I hope it always remains the same
Slumber in your safety
Ever so close to my beating heart
Hold on as tight as you possibly can
So nothing can ever tear us apart
As long as you keep loving me
I'll stay right here By Your Side
I'll gladly fall asleep beside you
Every night for the rest of my life
Tonight lets start the pattern
This very night lets make it right
So I can say that from this moment on
I will spend every single day By Your Side
