Calligraphy And Anatomy Classes Combined Poem by Mark Heathcote

Calligraphy And Anatomy Classes Combined

I want to play calligraphy with my tongue
Measure exactly these same isotopes you can never change
Even though their mass is never the same
I want to measure every atom and neutron in your body
By my sense of touch, taste and smell alone.

Gather the information I already know deep down in my soul.
And write you a love letter that won't take me more than an hour
But it'll take you an eternity after it's been delivered to read.
I want to play calligraphy with my tongue
Are you ready, darling, to play along?
