Calm Surface Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Calm Surface

What you see with naked eyes!
Calm and quiet waters
But do they remain same?
When claiming the storm

Same way, you can't judge a person
He has many reasons to turn cruel
You may notice no change in his face
He shall be the worst man if chased around

Don't be misguided
And always remain aided
By wisdom and logic
This is real basic principle

Human beings can't be judged
On simple logic as they are always misjudged
No one takes their words for promises
As they are hollow and miss many things

You may not know
In which direction, they go
You shall be deceived
Their conduct is never believed

Take nothing for granted
As things take place even if you don't want
Your trust in someone is proved wrong
As things have definitely lied
