Can you ask?

Can you ask for a privilege?
For leveling the charge
Against the innocent people
And put them into trouble!

How can you ask for reconsideration?
In the judgment that gives a fair indication
For the law-abiding authorities to ascertain the facts
And then go into action

The supreme court has taken the right view
Why such harassing weapon should be in the hands of few
And use it to intimidate serving personnel
The provision of an act has not done well

The political parties want to woe the voters
And now they are out to alter the provision
The court may take the firm view
And say no to the use by few

Now they want the ordinance to be passed
Restoring the old status to be restored
This is the democratic country and no one can dictate
If it happens so, it will be the bad fate
