Can you hear my scream?

I stare at you in pure silence
I ve stopped talking; nothing to say
I try to read your mind its blank.
So is mine to be frank
In all this silence i wonder every day
Can you hear my scream?

We ve been talking and talking
First verbally then by text
But your reaction to my entreat
Was a merry go round in retreat
So now i clam up; no contest
Can you hear my scream?

You are so far down the stream
Can you hear my scream?
Destroyed my self esteem
Can you hear my scream?
Shattered my dream
Can you hear my scream?
