Can You See? Poem by Khaos Dven

Cant you see me now? Cant you see thats me in despair, this cross i have to bare, open your eyes, its ok to stare, in the air, falling without a prayer. Cant you see me now? If i asked you to go away, would you realize im hoping you would stay? When im pushing you from me, will you open your eyes and see? Will you open your eyes and realize where i want you to be? Beside my side, keeping up my stride? Can you see? I wont let you go, even if my senses tell me no. Can you see me now? Your name is what i really wanna shout, when your walking out, with out a doubt. Yet im cursed to be the lone wolf, buried soon, no need for a hearse, and you wont even remember this verse. But cant you see? Are you blind? Dont you know its me? How long will it take, how much time? Once again im traveling that crooked path, protection? I dont have Intervention? No one is going to care. Do i dare? Why not? Ive seen my fair share, of broken lifes and spirits, and i know my time and my limits and there up. Filled with second thoughts of why im even here still talking to you. Not even caring, wondering, knowing nothings ever going to be different or new. Im sick of it and how you split, and your doin better, i wish i didnt tear up your letter. Stopped drinking and smoking but its hard becuase i feel like im stuck and i cant feel. The dark urge to swallow all those pills. Cant you see? Change is what i want, to break away and be free.But what YOU perceive isnt me. Look past my flaws and faults, look at my future and results. Open your eyes and see...Cause one day i might change and just not be that guy i could become...i could be gone with out a goodbye to anyone. And YOU will still be the blind one...except with out me....no more reason to see.
