Which dream is floating in thine eyes?
Why tears thou shed in darkish night?
A flickering flame of hope art thou
For aching hearts a mirthful sight
Which temp, which grave which forlorn road
You mourn for which delightful sight?
In starless nights show thou the way
To travellers wandering thus forlorn
In misty nights near haunted ruins
They read some ancient mystic yarn
Thy lingering eyes why weepst thou thus?
From centuries why thy wounds are green?
Thou weep for Psyche or for Ruth
In balmy dark them thou hath seen!
Thou beauteous than the honeyed eve:
Thou glittering than the stars in sky
Thou with whose charming gloomy light
In chariots come moths and go by
Who destined thou to live in gloom?
Who unto thou this doom hath brought?
My soul_mate it is but the one
Whom carried thou in thine own heart

Marvellous poem, The lighting of a candle symbolizes numerous concepts. You have selected it as a means of conveying your profound emotions during a solitary evening, anticipating the arrival of your significant other/ soulmate. I find this act of illumination to be meaningful.5*****
Thanks Asim Nehal, my soulmate is no one except God, he remains with me in dark gloomy nights and dewy mornings and He will be with me forever I hope so. Other people are like winds trying to blow down the candle of life... The cheaters, fraudulent and insincere
