Candlelight Moment. Poem by James Brennan

Candlelight Moment.

Rating: 5.0

Candles light up the sand
Around our flowers for you,
The lightly blowing wind
Burns the light more brightly
Candles flicker out one by one
As we watch their fading shadows.

The final candle
Burns slowly leaving us
More time to be with you
To celebrate life's precious moments
Until the candle is no more
And we say goodnight dear, Mam.

Rest In Peace.
