Cantata Poem by Richard Theze

Cantata

From seagull’s rest,
The birds
Take flight,
Their plaintive cries
On salted breeze
Carry, a motif
In dissonant harmony
With the allegro crash
Of surf,
Ostinato,
On rock,
On sand,
A grandioso movement:
Nature’s cantata.
