people especially
capitalistic perceived
important people
promotion elevated
on profile capitalist list
near esteem apex peak
desire wish to believe
in image myth insisting
upon their importance
but time piercing world
exists without us
set on its own course
the wind still blows
the sun still shines
the rain still falls
the world indifferent
will carry on without us
when death slays us
