Caring Act Poem by Naomi Waters

Caring Act

Rating: 5.0

He wrote something just for me
An apology to be adored
While it wasnt needed
I wasnt angry
It was precious
A rare act
Where for one moment he opened up
Let me feel what he felt
As if our minds were one
In the absence
His presence is dearly missed
It is reassuring to know
Deep down inside
He cares
For him I will stay
I guess I found my reason

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I got into an argument with my friend Tristan because I lied to him. We didnt speak for a little while but I wrote him an apology poem which I will publish. Few minutes later he handed me a poem he wrote apologizing for being a jerk. It is still with me and it has only made me cherish our friendship more. As for the last few lines those are open for interpretation. I talk about a lot of people in my poems listed as she or he I never name them. It is up to you who I am talking about which you can decide I will try to tell you who in the summary but most of the time I leave it vague on purpose.
