Carnival Poem by Siri Atluri

Carnival

It's here! It's here! ! !
Joyous squeals of delight are all we hear.
For the Grand Carnival is here.

Kids are driving parents crazy,
It's a part of Carnival frenzy.
No one around is anymore lazy.

With good ol' Ferris wheel
Cotton candy as your meal
No one touches that darn old reel.
There are many a store of candy,
Pretty dresses for sale at "The Mandy"
Everyone goes "YEEHAW" for horses of Randy.

Here is the witches brew,
And there is a float of Sailors crew
Many prizes out of lucky dip all drew.

Many butterflies up and above they fly,
On stage the actors cry,
Now it is night,
Nothing is more bright than the carnival night.
