Carry On God's Work Poem by Ima Ryma

Carry On God's Work

When God created all on Earth,
God rested when this work was done,
To leave the future to deem worth
Of human test that was begun.
Since I was born I have been taught
That as a human I have work
To do will of God as I ought.
Though challenging I must not shirk
Working God's will while I do live.
Through each and every day I
Need think and act in ways to give
Praise to God's good work till I die.

When it is time to take my rest
Will I have lived to pass God's test?
