Cary On Dear Hell - Poem by rick williams
im holding all the reasons of hell on my back
a disgraceful front, the puppet of the devil, am i?
holding truth to sin, relentlesly resenting faith, am i?
all the things that youve heard, in all the sorrows youve told,
through the voices of rejection, in the truth, is it you?
through the shadows of redemption, cary on dear hell,
so good satan, AM I?
in this WORLDLY DECEPTION(worldly deception)
love and hate have met the fate, so ill to come true for all of you, held cold and dead.
the lungs grow frail and prepare for breakdown
