Castles In The Sand Poem by Pamela lutwyche

Castles In The Sand

Rating: 4.5

As I was walking,
Charlie on the beach
Early one summer morn
There were lots of sand castles
Left by the children
from the night before

They were elaborate builds
Stunning to see
a lot of thought put in
a little city beginning to grow
I thought, I have to, I must take,
a photo of this you know

Made by little tiny hands
With smiles and laughter no doubt
Running down to the sea
For water running in and out

with mote around the structure
They were really magnificent
Imagination of children all having fun
Building sand castles and playing in the sun

The sea will take the castles away
And leave the sand just bare
But, children will come back
And build castles again just there.

Appreciate your observing the activities of the fun loving children at the beach and composing such a beautiful poem. 'Made by little tiny hands With smiles and laughter no doubt Running down to the sea For water running in and out' - loved these lines.
