Cat And Koi

Today my cat brought in a koi
which yesterday was swimming in my pond.
It’s always so hard to enjoy
a cat of which you may be very fond
when it destroys the fish that you
feed everyday, and hope will grow to be
as large as feelings that are quite taboo,
except when they’re the ones you feel for me.
