Cat Burglary Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Cat Burglary

Someone broke in, and took all my stuff
To pay back with any amount of
your worldly possessions
Wouldn't ever be enough
You broke precious items
Like my heart
You left a tare in my soul
Damage is every memory of you
Once a treasure
Now just debris
I now will just bottle
It all, and cast it to the sea
I know must begin the process
In order to build
A new restored me
