Caught Up Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Caught Up

I caught you with your hand in the cookie jar
and in your hand was a smidge of happiness
also on your face now has a beautiful smile,
that been hidden to due tragedy and trails
I am so glad to see joy show up, once again
for it seems to have been hidden for a while
So go ahead, bite that cookie, and buy shoes
Then wear the glow. One should embrace these
moments, I am sure you now know
