Cat Heart - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

I searched in deep desert
Thought she may be busty with concert
Looks as if she is down with barren heart
But can manage well as she is capable and smart

Why has she gone off completely when on peak?
Built of strong will power and never felt weak
Never uttered a work or tried to speak
Even if suture deemed uncertain and bleak

Where she is I may pray for her well being
She may be doing exceptionally and managing well
We all need not advise her or tell
She has capability of turning hell

I would try to venture in her kind approach
She was well versed and needed no coach
The poetic world might have benefited a lot
But alas! Something was definitely lost

I remember the first encounter
I had just put step in and entered
She was reigning supreme
It had left large impact on me

I want her comeback with pomp and show
The desert flower must boom and grow
Even though fragrance less but yet a flower
Yet capable enough to invite rain to shower

Will she sing again and air the melody?
Will it be same again as glorious lady?
I would love it to happen
The situation may not be favorable even

I am sure my call will be responded
The appeal/advice may be heard and heeded
What can be expected from a noble soul?
Not to be lost for ever as in the case with owl

Knock the door and appear again
Don’t allow it to go in drain
Still worthwhile remains to be delivered
Even though the situation may be altered
