Catastrophes Too Carry A Hope Poem by Mohammad Younus

Catastrophes Too Carry A Hope

Catastrophes too carry a hope—
Catastrophes spare no soul, no land,
Their wrath indifferent, their reach unplanned.
Yet our response must rise above,
In impartial care, in boundless love.

The world is one— a single form,
When one part aches, we all feel the storm.
A wound to one is a wound to all,
A shared burden, a collective call.

The damage stings, colossal, true,
Yet hope within must pierce the blue.
For though disasters leave their scars,
They gift us strength, like guiding stars.

From ashes rise great transformations,
A testament to human innovation.
They forge new paths, inspire the heart,
And bind the world, no matter how far apart.

These trials are not mere stories told,
But lessons deep, a wisdom bold.
A chance to rebuild with clearer sight,
And shape a world bathed in brighter light.

Oh, look not only at despair's face,
But see the seeds of boundless grace.
For vision, trust, and selfless hands
Can heal the earth, revive its lands.

Blessed are those who serve and give,
Through them, humanity learns to live.
For in each act of care, we see,
The birth of endless unity.

So let us rise, together, strong,
With hope as our shield, and love our song.
This crisis holds a promise divine—
A world renewed, a brighter design.
