Cats 5. Your Cat Has Been Caught Flat-Footed. Poem by Konstantin Ananin

Cats 5. Your Cat Has Been Caught Flat-Footed.

- Jack! Stop watching TV.
_______________________- What?
______________________________- Listen!
New leaves of my rose are eaten!
- And why?
___________- Your cat has been caught
Flat-footed.
____________- No!
_________________- Yes. I saw
Him eat them early last morning.
He realized he was seen.
At last I caught him red-handed!
This evil tomcat pretended
Not to do anything.
He ate two leaves!
_________________- Nothing
Unusual. He needs some more
Vitamins.
__________- If he eats one or
Two mice, he’ll have everything
He needs, and, of course, vitamins.
- But he prefers “Whiskas”.
________________________- And my
Rose!
_______- Only its leaves.
______________________- Why
Should I stand it? We’ll see no
Rose! Catch mice for him!
_______________________- Oh!
