Caution Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Same place, same time;
You have the right to speak out your mind,
Like a flying bird with hope.
Same place, same time;
You have the righrt to speak out but,
Do watch what you speak and how you say it.
In this life,
You have to choose your friends from your heart;
But don't let them choose you!
Many may not be what they say they are,
But, what is the society up to when we do lack love?
Don't forget your past and your identity;
For we all have to learn as we grow.

Same place, same time;
Like letters posted but with no reply,
Because many are yet to learn about life.
Respect is earned by those who deserve it,
Like applications written with no jobs at hand;
But to whom the bell tolls, this poem do speak to as well.
The snake does inherit poison from its mother,
And whatever is conceived in the night must be exposed in the light.

What is he society up to?
Because the smoke and the rabbit had never been friends!
In this world,
Who you are doesn't matter much;
But, what you are!
Because, no matter how high the eagle soars,
It must come back to the earth.

You have the right to speak but,
Do watch what you speak and how you say it;
Because, the worm that eats the vegetable is,
Behind the vegetable leave itself.
Caution!
With words so anew from a bard;
Like a fight between the cat and the snake.
