Caution In The Wind Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Caution In The Wind

Rating: 5.0

In the middle of a blizzard
I ventured on to the highway
With visions of future hazards
I turned around and said, no way…

Even if I had had four-wheel drive
My decision would be the same
Better to wait out the storm inside
Rather than ending up maimed

Yes, I’m a coward with a cautious eye
That is because I’m not ready to die
