Celebrated Vanity Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

Celebrated Vanity

Is it in the books or looks of the face
That peace reigns in human space
Or is it in the conviviality of human race
That humanity maintains its moral pace

Is it in the corniness of beauty
That morality has a duty
Or it is the propriety of selflessness
That many generations find appropriateness

Is it in the blood of today's thought
That answers for tomorrow's questions clot
Or it is the fluidity of today's morality
That hemorrhages tomorrow's godly commonality

Is it in the multiplicity of vain celebrities
By whom even the godly, have lost their sense of dignities
Or it is in the celebration of the reprobates and vanity
That, societies are battling degenerates and profanity
