Cemented Ending Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Cemented Ending

We've already strolled down memory lane.
And have exchanged blame for causing each other's pain.
But I do not wish to continue life lived like this.
Let's just skip over the intended intention.
And find ourselves at the exit.
Promising not to look back at it.
Calling it what it is.
An agreement of a cemented ending!
